Resumen
This paper studies the barriers to access to justice for consumers, both in a formal sense, as well as in a broad sense, which considers alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. A diagnosis is made on the use of new technologies in Chile, because it is considered that, in part, they could solve these barriers to access to justice. Finally, the European online platform for conflict resolution is studied as a model to follow. © 2023 Universidad de Chile. All rights reserved.
