Specific enzyme activities of chlorocatechol in constructed chlorobenzoate [Actividades enzimáticas específicas del clorocatecol en el clorobenzoato construido]
Chlorocatechols are considered to be central intermediates in metabolism of chlorinated aromatic compounds even if other alternative pathways were also reported. Originally they were considered to be metabolized only through a modified ortho-cleavage pathway because meta-fission of 3-chlorocatechol was considered to create suicidal acyl halides. © 2020, Interamerican Society for Electron Microscopy (CIASEM).
