This article has the purpose of analizing the judiciary decisions of the Inter American Court of Rights issued against Chile, particularly when it comes to the content of article 2 of the American Convention of Human Rights, that establishes the obligation that the states have of adjusting their national law system to the legal provisions of the Convention. Also, we will analize the scoop and problems that this kind of decisions have triggered in the national legal system, particularly when it comes to the control of conventionality and the margin of appreciation. © 2023, Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina.
