The relationship between a human person and technology: Legal anthropology essay
Autor
Herrera, Ian Henríquez
Resumen
This essay deals with the relationship between the human person and technology, specifically between contemporary humans and technology. In the first section, we will show the intrinsic characteristics that unite the human being with the transformation of nature, mediated, in turn, by artifacts. In the second section, we will present a critical analysis of the ways in which Modernity has tried to explain, in our opinion unsatisfactorily, this phenomenon. The third section contains our proposal to reorder the person-technical relationship, based on a purpose hierarchy and the distinction between technical and technology. The findings are relevant to various contemporary technological uses. © 2023 Universidad de Chile. All rights reserved.
