Resumen
This research has the purpose of analyzing the theoretical foundations that promote sustainability as a corporate responsibility vis-à-vis natural ecosystems. Therefore, it distinguishes predatory ways of producing goods and services from techniques capable of producing in response to the need to conserve assets that allow the continuity of a dignified life. In this sense, reciprocity and measure are ethical entities that agree to recognize the limits of what is economically possible. We deal with forms of rational exploitation of natural resources to admit the continuity of just societies. We promote the self-management capacity of communities to contain harmful forms of consumption. Thus, sustainability supports economic organizations capable of generating profits while responding to commitments to society and the environment. It is a bibliographic investigation from the rationalist-deductive approach.
